Each year the Belgian Brain Tumor Support will honor two selected physicians, residents, fellows or paramedics who exemplify a new contribution in the care or support of patients bearing a central nervous system tumor or in the field of basic neuro-oncological research with the goal to present their work in a congress.

The Belgian Brain Tumor Support is currently accepting applications for the 2011 Award.

1. Ondersteuning van de patiënten die lijden aan een tumor in het centraal zenuwstelsel, tijdens het hele verloop van hun ziekte.

2. Steun aan het wetenschappelijk onderzoek van een medische en paramedische groep (neurochirurgen, oncologen, radiotherapeuten, fysiotherapeuten, logopedisten…) die onderzoek doen naar innovatieve behandelingen en zorgmethodes voor pat iënten die getroffen zijn door een tumor van het centraal zenuwstelsel.
